For over 15 years I’ve been specializing in telling wedding stories on video. You receive a brief highlight video for convenient online sharing and a full feature-length documentary with every vow, every speech, every planned moment and some behind the scenes candids organized into a comprehensive wedding story- not just a highlight reel and some short clips.  Delivery on USB drive or online, is usually within 2 to 3 weeks of your wedding day.  All at a price that makes saving your priceless memories affordable.

The voices of Your Wedding hold special memories. Why not record all of the voices?

All ceremony words & vows, then the full content of speeches & toasts are part of the feature length wedding documentary video. I also record guest congratulations and advice to include them in your full length documentary style video.  Your wedding highlight reel is kept short for easy online sharing. Your documentary style full wedding video organizes more of these memories into a structured story of your wedding.  Guest voices included in the edited documentary video of your wedding day add to your memories and are an enjoyable activity for most guests.  Wedding Blog has some ideas on why and how to capture guest congratulations & advice

Record the special emotions before your wedding ceremony for future enjoyment.

Words inspired by the emotions of that special time before your wedding ceremony  provide  memories to cherish for years to come. Recording a short message to each other prior to the ceremony has become popular with many of my videography couples. A before the ceremony message to each other also makes a nice complement to the standard vows often used in formal church service weddings, or even for a secular ceremony such as this couple chose at the Monastery Event Center.  View a variety of ways to preserve a bride & groom pre-ceremony message to each other

Preparations with those closest to you hold moments to record and cherish.

Wedding preparations contain many memorable moments. Planned preparation activities before the ceremony might also include a short message to each other, a gift exchange, and a first look for the bride’s father, the groom, and even for bridesmaids. The time before your wedding ceremony also holds unscripted candid moments with some of the people closest to you and most involved in your celebration.  These candid video recordings store happy memories, like for this couple married at The Barn on Hidden Ridge.  View some ideas for Before The Ceremony Activities

Music from your wedding day brings back the day’s joy for years to come.

Using music from the celebration of your wedding will inspire memories for years to come. This couple’s wedding at the Cincinnati Club had a string trio for the ceremony, a live band for their reception, and the song from the first time they ever danced together playing for their first dance at their wedding. Highlight videos emphasize whatever holds special importance to the couple. This is determined by discussions with the couple before or during the wedding day, and by my years of experience filming weddings. I do my own filming and editing to insure this. Your short highlight video provides a convenient way to share important moments  of your day on social media.

Wedding ceremony video can include activity before and/or after the ceremony.

My Bronze package limited coverage can begin prior to and/or continue shortly after the ceremony. Preparations and the time before your ceremony begins hold memories to cherish. This couple chose to have emphasis on their preparations and activities before the ceremony and no filming after the ceremony at the Josephina in Dry Ridge Kentucky.  Time can be added on either side of your wedding ceremony as needed to fit your ideas, plans, and budget.

Wedding videographers preserve traditions and unique moments for future generations.

After preparations and an Orthodox wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity – St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, the celebrating moved on to Lake Lyndsay.  The reception blended Greek and  Palestinian / Arabic traditions  along with Tennessee style music and partying.  This most memorable wedding’s feature length documentary that accompanied this highlight video will help future generations appreciate family backgrounds and traditions.

Saving memories from a milestone wedding anniversary celebration

This couple chose to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends, Romer’s Catering great food,  music by Detroit’s Uprizin Band, dancing, and a masquerade theme party.  In addition to candid clips throughout the night, the speeches & toasts, and guest congratulations were recorded in full on the feature length documentary that accompanied their highlight video.  The memories of the faces, voices, music, and creativity that went into making the celebration happen are now preserved on video.

Please note that in addition to wedding highlight videos such as seen above or on our YouTube Wedding Highlight Playlist, couples also receive a fully edited feature length documentary or more tightly edited mini-documentary video of their wedding.  My editing combines multiple video and audio sources to allow you to enjoy your wedding as a structured documentary movie and relive the wedding events for years to come.

Contact us to discuss your ideas, needs, and our availability for filming your wedding or event.

The documentary style wedding video included in our packages preserves more of the voices, music, and faces that make your day special. You can decide to have it shortened into a mini-documentary or keep a more detailed  recording of the day’s events. Keep your videos private or share online. Your day, your choices.

FAQ Section

Q: What does your wedding videography cost?

Prices depend primarily on the amount of coverage you require to preserve the best memories of your day. My Bronze pkg for $695 covers a typical ceremony and some limited time before and afterwards.  My Silver pkg for $1095 covers afternoon weddings for 7 hours to provide coverage of some preparations and your main planned wedding events on into the evening dancing.  My Gold pkg with 10 hours allows for more extensive coverage of your preparations and the full wedding celebration.

Q: What is your production style?

I film in a documentary style using multiple cameras and audio sources for your key events. I combine these inputs in my editing along with candid moments and any color or lighting corrections that are needed. I do not generally apply fancy in camera effects that most people would consider cinematic.  My documentary style provides a short highlight video for convenient sharing and a feature length wedding story for you to watch and relive the planned and some behind-the-scenes events of your day.

Q: How long does it take to receive our videos?

Your draft highlight video that is typically 4 to 8 minutes long will arrive in 1 to 2 weeks.  Your feature length wedding story that is usually 60 to 90 minues long will be completed in 2 to 3 weeks.  The length of this feature length video may be longer if there is a long ceremony, extended time for speeches & toasts, or other wedding events.  You can request a mini-documentary if you prefer your full day condensed down to the most essential activities.

Q: Do you serve areas besides Cincinnati?

Yes!  I frequently film weddings in Northern Kentucky, the Dayton Ohio area, counties east of Cinciinati, as well as west into Indiana. Within an hour drive from Cincinnati there is no travel fee.  For more distant weddings such as in Columbus, Louisville, etc. there is only a nominal travel fee so my service is still quite affordable.

My experience as a documentary wedding videographer helps me exceed expectations for affordable wedding videography.
Trust me to preserve the memories of your wedding day at a price to fit most budgets.
Once moments are past the opportunity to film them is gone.

Reviews from wedding couples have resulted in multiple  Best of The Knot  awards  and Couple’s Choice awards from Wedding Wire, and  Best of Zola award.
